Anthony is a veteran of the First Persian Gulf War, having served in the Marines. He studied philosophy at Loyola Marymount, and then received his law degree from Southwestern cum laude in 1997. 

In 1997, Anthony started his career at a Century City civil law firm before opening his criminal practice downtown in 2000. His office is now in the Los Feliz area of Hollywood.

He exclusively focuses on criminal trial cases in the county courts of Los Angeles as well as statewide appeals.
